    1. Hi Michael – Sure. Just contact me privately if you would like more information. We are offering group discounts for training schools and for pet food companies that are enrolling their staff in our courses for their continuing education needs. We also can customize courses for companies, as requested. Best, Linda Case (lcase@autumngoldconsulting.com).

  1. Hi Linda! I am very excited about this course. Can you give me a ballpark idea of a timeline – like how much time I should expect to take a week to finish it by the end of May. (I know there’s lots of variables!) I get very busy boarding dogs from Memorial Day thru the summer and don’t have much spare time then. And I am rural so internet is sometimes sketchy and videos can freeze up on me, will that be a problem? I can always go to the library and use their internet. Thanks so much for any help!

    1. Hi Diane, We estimate that each chapter takes between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete, maybe less if you go through the lectures and readings quickly. For CEU applications, we estimated the entire course would take someone between 16 and 20 hours to complete. You can take as much or as little of the course each time that you log on as the entire course is on-demand, so that is helpful when you are busy! As far as internet goes, you may see a slow-down with the videos, but I think you should be able to view them. The course also includes readings, quizzes and other materials, which should not be affected by slow internet. Hope this is helpful to you – we would love to have you in the course! Best wishes, Linda

    1. Hi Araluen! It will! All of The Science Dog courses will be on-demand (i.e. you can register anytime) and self-paced (you can take them at your leisure, within the 6-month access period). We will have our second course “Puppies to Seniors: Feeding Dogs through the Life Cycle” available in late March and our third core course “Dog Food Smarts” will be available starting in June. Hope to see you in one of the courses! Best, Linda
